Nude DVD Review

If there’s one thing that’s easy to spot in Patricia Arquette’s career to date, it’s that whenever she feels she’s in a movie that could well become a great artistic success, she’s willing to get her duds off - see Stigmata, Lost Highway and now Human Nature. In this flick, Patty frolics about in the woods wearing nothing at all… well, except a rather off-putting coat of monkey hair all over her body. Arquette wanders naked through the woods, gets caught in a rainstorm and basically only wears clothes in every second scene, which is nice… if you can get past her hairy legs, arms, stomach, back, I could go on. But fear not, if you squint, you can almost forget the hair is there and instead enjoy the fabulous curves that the Arquette who is prettier than Rosanna and more female than David (just) provides. In fact, Arquette is naked so often in this film, with so many beaver butt and boobie shots on offer, that had she not been wearing a muff-wig you can almost guarantee the film would have received the dreaded NC-17. Trust us, if you want to see Patty Arquette’s axe-wound, you’re better off catching it on cable (or getting a membership so you can see it here) than getting the inevitably watered-down ‘Blockbuster’ version down the road. Laura Grady Peterson shows breasts and buns.
