The Double Life of Veronique celebrates its double life with a 2-Disc Set out today on DVD. That’s one disc for each of Irène Jacob’s double delights. The movie is by the late Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski, who may have died while filming, as Irène is in various states of undress throughout the movie. OK, he didn’t die while filming, but definitely some of his little men perished. This wasn’t the French tart’s first foray into skin, nor her last--she went on to appear nude in a dirty dozen more. Still, this remains the peak peek at her peaks. Double your pleasure and buy two copies of this special edition. Surprise a friend with the gift that keeps on coming.

It’s really not that hard to understand the mind of a maniac. Take H6: Diary of a Serial Killer, which comes out finally on DVD today. The killer in this flick has a hot wife in the big-breasted María José Bausá, who lets her criminally insane husband murder some sperm in two frantic lovemaking scenes--one outside from behind, which is a boob shake-a-thon, and another in the more conventional confines of the bedroom. As hot as she is, what man wouldn’t want more? What separates the socials from the sociopaths, however, is that if you had the full-frontal bounty of Raquel Arenas to play around with you wouldn’t send her off to meet her maker, you’d get off having her meet your meat. That’s a killer.

Richard E. Grant is a funny guy, an actor, writer, and even director of the newly released on DVD Wah-Wah. He’s also, God bless him, a perv who cast usually skinful (though, sadly, not here) British babe Julie Walters. She made her nude debut in the misleadingly entitled She’ll Be Wearing Pink Pyjamas, in which Julie isn’t wearing PJs, but you see her pink. She was most recently obscene in the naked-old-ladies picture Calendar Girls (2003), which proved that the more mature the mams the more the Skinsider likes it. She still looks good, even here with her clothes on.

You’ve got to love the talented minds of the exploitation field. They may not define the zeitgeist, but they know how to ride the bandwagon in the most creative ways. Take Wedding Slashers, which comes out on DVD today. It sounds an awful lot like the title of another movie that was a big surprise hit not too long ago. Like that movie, this one has nudity too, only from overweight lover Tanith Fiedler in her first flash onscreen. She’s a big woman--where it counts--and you’ll be big where it counts watching her brief nude scene. Let’s hope she enjoys her taste of skin and comes back for seconds, thirds, fourths . . .
