John Cameron Mitchell gained fame as the star, director, and writer of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He took that capital and invested it in the unrated, explicit Shortbus. That’s something agents and managers might blanch at but the Skinsider respects. Well, the movie made a quick trip to DVD, out today, which means that we can now enjoy the kinky hijinks in the privacy of our own homes. Some highlights include Lindsay Beamish and Sook-Yin Lee doing what girls do best . . . each other! And Shanti Carson gets banged up, in the good sense, at an orgy. This is one bus worth running for.

Mile High: The Complete First Season, out today on DVD, is a comedy-drama from the UK, which means between the laughs and the tears there’s plenty of nudity to keep viewers glued to their seats. In fact, watching hotties like blonde English Tea & A Sarah Manners not minding hers sunbathing topless will get your pants all gluey with gooey stuff. Sarah is topless with Naomi Ryan for those who prefer dark meat. And Georgia Zaris shows off her boobs jumping into the pool. This is the kind of TV that gets high ratings in the poles, if you know what the Skinsider means.

The Skinsider is taking a holiday from skin, but only briefly, to mention that The Holiday is out on DVD today. While a skinless romantic comedy is not necessarily worth talking about, a skinless romantic comedy with Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet is nothing to overlook. At the thirty-five-minute mark Kate is swimming in a pool in her bathing suit, which is a nice opportunity to watch her whale Britannias. An hour and forty-four minutes into the film Cameron is lying in bed with only a white bra. Both have been better, but it’s nice to keep up with them--stressing the “up” part.

There’s nudity galore and glorious in Topless Tapioca Wrestling, out today on DVD. The movie features many naked ladies getting messy while they fight it out. This is definitely the sweet science. While only Darian Caine is likely a familiar name here, others, such as Molly Heartbreaker and Veronica Blue, took the Skinsider down for the count, that is after I shot my own homemade tapioca.
