It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, so if you’re a last-minute shopper then the Skinsider has some treats sure to stuff more than your stockings. First up is Blade Runner: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition, which is out today. It comes in a sleek attaché case that holds, among other things, director Ridley Scott’s final cut. The happy-ending theatrical cut is included, as is the international version and Scott’s director’s cut from 1992. But all versions of this film include the one scene that makes this not only a sci-fi classic but a skin one as well. That, of course, is the topless dressing-room scene with Joanna Cassidy. She was already a skin vet thanks to The Cursed Medallion and Night Games and would go on to bare it one final time in The Fourth Protocol, but it’s here in Blade Runner that Joanna’s jugs are truly out of this world.

Another blast from the recent past that gives the Skinsider a heart-on is Braveheart: Special Collectors Edition, out today on DVD. Say what you will about director and star Mel Gibson, but it sure looks like he’s got God on his side, what with casting Catherine McCormack as his love interest in the (a)rousing medieval Scottish ass kicker. The large-breasted Brit was already cocked and Loaded, her nude debut, before flashing her tits again with Gibson. She followed that up with her breast exposure to date in Dangerous Beauty, with some bedroom T&A that’s A-OK. No slouch when it comes to skin, Catherine continued her nude streak through Shadow of the Vampire, The Tailor of Panama, Elizabeth David: A Life in Recipes, and most recently in 28 Weeks Later. “Freedom,” cries Gibson in Braveheart, and Catherine has taken that as her cause as well . . . freedom from clothes!

Before director Sam Raimi turned Spider-Man into a film star he was stirring up trouble with evil spirits in his breakthrough horror classic The Evil Dead. This movie deserves its place in history, which may explain why it’s been re-issued in endless must-have editions. Not to beat a dead horse, but the 3-Disc Ultimate Edition, out today, is worthy of your attention if you want to beat off. That’s because the luscious Betsy Baker and the stunning Ellen Sandweiss both get naked, which is enough of an endorsement for the Skinsider to pick up this collection again. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving . . . me a boner! From Betsy’s booby flash to Ellen’s tree-bound rape, this movie raises more than the dead.

Some say sacrilege, but the Skinsider says skintastic! That’s my opinion of rocker Rob Zombie’s reworking of the classic slasher fare Halloween, which has just been released in a 2-Disc Unrated Director’s Cut. Though Zombie isn’t as generous with his wife Sheri Moon’s body as he has been in the past (though she does play a pretty cheeky stripper), he more than makes up for that lapse in judgment with copious nudity from Hanna Hall, Danielle Harris, and Kristina Klebe, first-time skinsters all. Bless that Zombie for coaxing these actresses out of their costumes. Their boobs make a fine contrast to all the blood and death in the movie. Happy Halloween!
